Description
The Philosophy Department focuses on major philosophical fields: metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, philosophy of mind, logic, and philosophy of science, in addition to the history of ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary philosophy. The department aims to prepare teachers and researchers equipped with tools of analysis, critique, and argumentation, capable of applying philosophical methods to educational practice, problem‑solving, question‑framing, and community engagement.

Leadership and excellence in teaching and researching philosophy by promoting a culture of critical thinking and ethical responsibility, and by contributing to the advancement of education and public awareness.
Mission
Preparing scientifically and pedagogically qualified graduates in philosophy who possess competencies in analysis, logic, and research, and who can apply the history of ideas and philosophical methodologies in teaching, academic writing, and community service, thereby deepening values of dialogue and pluralism.

1-Preparing specialized philosophy teachers with solid knowledge and contemporary pedagogical skills.
